Youth Ice Skating

Learn how to ice skate in a safe, fun, and challenging environment. Our ice skating programs for beginners teach skaters of all ages how to master the basics of ice skating while providing the best foundation for figure skating, hockey, and speed skating.

Ages 3-5 with adult

Tot ‘N Me

A unique opportunity for our youngest new skaters to have an adult on the ice next to them for extra support during class. The adult must be comfortable wearing skates and remain with child on the ice for the duration of each class. Registration fee includes one adult and one child. Skate Rental fee is per person.

Hockey Tots

Class participants will learn the basics of skating with and without hockey sticks including falling and getting up, marching, 2-foot glides, stopping and more. The focus will be on skating skills and not the actual game of hockey.

Snowplow Sam

This program is a progression of four classes designed to teach the fundamentals of skating to children with little or no skating experience. Skaters will learn basic balance and skating skills in an age appropriate and fun environment.

Basic (Learn to Skate) Classes

The Basic Skills Program teaches students progressively more difficult moves through six levels of skating. Upon completion of the Basic 1 through 6 Program, skaters will have knowledge of the sport enabling them to advance to more specialized areas of skating.
