Pick-up Hockey

The Pettit National Ice Center holds Pick-Up Hockey sessions weekly, throughout the calendar year. Pick-Up sessions are open to anyone who wants to work on their game or craves more ice time.

Pick-Up Hockey sessions are (at least) one hour long and each session have a $8 admission fee.

All pick-up hockey sessions are limited to the first 25 skaters (this includes goalies) that sign-in and pay at the Pettit Center's Info Window. All skaters MUST pay for EACH pick-up session (except for the 1st two (2) goalies that sign-in at the Info Window) and sign-in at the Info Window. If you decide to NOT pay for a pick-up hockey session, you will be asked to leave the Pettit Center immediately.

Please bring your own puck or pucks for all pick-up hockey sessions!

Pucks will not be available and skaters should bring their own pucks.

Below are the types of Pick-Up Hockey sessions at the Pettit Center:

• Stickhandling - This session is open to all ages and is perfect chance to brush up on your hockey skills and take a few shots on goal in a relaxed environment.
  
• 14 & Younger - A new pick-up hockey session at the Pettit Center, this session is for those players under the age of 15 ONLY. Pick-up games will be allowed, but only when all participants agree to play. Otherwise the session is a 14 & Younger stickhandling hour.
• 15 & Older - For those hockey players who are 15 years of age or older, this session features pick-up hockey games. With enough participants signed-in, full-ice pick-up games can commence.
