The Pettit National Ice Center, a U.S. Olympic Training Facility, is kicking off the holiday season with Thanksgiving Day skating.
The Pettit will be open for business on Thanksgiving Day with a public skating session from noon to 9 p.m. Thanksgiving Holiday skating continues with another all-day session on Friday.
Families and friends will enjoy skating on the Pettit’s Olympic Oval and can experience first-hand why the Pettit was once again voted Milwaukee’s “Best Place to Skate.”
Thanksgiving also marks the beginning of the Pettit Center’s Holidazzle celebration. Throughout December and continuing through January 9, skaters will be treated to musical performances by local choirs and musical groups, get the chance to wear jingle bell skates and even meet up with Santa who will be skating each weekend to get in shape for Christmas Eve deliveries.
With no weather worries, free parking and a festive atmosphere, the Pettit is the place to be this holiday season! Everything gets underway on Thursday with the Thanksgiving Skate.
