

The Pettit National Ice Center, a U.S. Olympic Training Facility, will be the coolest place to be at this year’s Wisconsin State Fair.
The Pettit Center will feature new and fun activities designed to please many a Fairgoer. Some of the Pettit “Cool Zone” features include:
Cream Puff Curling – Try your hand at the state’s official sport! You’ll also get the chance to see some live curling matches that will include some of the area’s best curlers
Zamboni Zone – Ever wanted to take your seat on this icon of the ice world? This year Fairgoers will get a chance to take their picture on the Pettit Center’s Zamboni.
Free Public Skating – Throughout the 2005 Fair, anyone with a Fair Admission can come and skate on the Pettit’s Olympic Oval free of charge. Come and cool off in the Pettit’s “Cool Zone.”
Pettit Trivia Challenge – Win prizes and learn interesting facts about the Pettit Center, one of only 3 covered ovals in all of North America.
Official US Team Gear – The Pettit will be featuring items from the US Olympic Team, including some brand-new Turin 2006 Winter Olympics gear for raffle.
The 2005 Wisconsin State Fair runs August 4th to the 14th, 2005.
