Holidazzle Sparkles At The Pettit
The Pettit National Ice Center, a U.S. Olympic Training Facility, is ringing in the holidays with special seasonal activities as part of its Holidazzle celebration.
Holidazzle features fun for all ages. One staple of Holidazzle is the weekly “Skate with Santa.” The big man himself takes to the ice at 1pm on this Saturday (12/17) and Sunday (12/18). Joining Santa are the Sugar Plum Fairies who are spreading holiday cheer everywhere they skate.
Skate with Santa is a great photo opportunity for everyone.
Santa will also be making a special appearance at the Pettit Center on Thursday, December 15 from 6am –10am. Everyone is invited come and meet Santa and take a FREE picture on his lap.
New this year is the Candy Cane Club Crafts. Kids and parents alike can take part in special holiday craft projects in between spins on the Pettit’s Olympic Oval
Besides Santa and the Candy Cane Club, the Pettit is also decked with numerous holiday decorations including a Winter Wonderland of Trees and everybody’s favorite Jingle Bell Skates. Many of the Pettit’s rental skates come equipped with their own jingle bells.
Beginning December 23, the Pettit Center will have extended hours for public skating. Below is a listing of the extended public skating sessions.
December 23 – 12pm - 10pm
December 24 – 12pm – 3pm
December 26 to January 1 – 12pm – 10pm
