Pettit To Welcome USOC Representatives

The Pettit National Ice Center, a U.S. Olympic Training Facility, will welcome United States Olympic Committee (USOC) staff to Milwaukee on Friday, August 15, 2003.

USOC representatives anticipated to visit the Pettit Center include Jim Page, managing director, sports performance; and John Smyth, director, Olympic training centers. Pettit Center Executive Director Cindy Yomantas will attend the meeting, as will representatives of the Pettit Board of Directors including Olympic medal winner Bonnie Blair-Cruikshank.

“I’m looking forward to talking with Jim and John about opportunities for the Pettit Center to host new Olympic programming. We’ll also touch on sponsorship strategies,” said Yomantas.
