PETTIT NATIONAL ICE CENTER ANNOUNCES
FROEDTERT & MEDICAL COLLEGE SPONSORSHIP

The Pettit National Ice Center, a U.S. Olympic Training Facility, is proud to announce a new sponsorship with Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin.

As part of its multi-year agreement, Froedtert & Medical College will be recognized as the official sports medicine provider for the Pettit Center. Additionally, Froedtert & Medical College will receive signage on the exterior of the Pettit National Ice Center building. This is the first time a Pettit Center sponsor has been featured in such a manner.

“We are looking forward to working with the Pettit National Ice Center,” stated Tom Engel, Director of the Froedtert & Medical College Sports Medicine Center. “The Sports Medicine Center will provide expertise in injury prevention and performance improvement for the Pettit’s athletes and customers.”

Froedtert & Medical College is the newest of several sponsorships announced by the Pettit Center. Most recently the Facility announced a partnership with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

“We are honored to have the opportunity to work with Froedtert & Medical College,” said Pettit Center Executive Director Cindy Yomantas. “And we look forward to supporting their quality marketing and community service initiatives.”

When it comes to providing value for its sponsors, one of the many benefits the Pettit Center can provide is an enviable location from which to showcase key partners. Yomantas said the United State Olympic Committee was consulted and approved the placement of the Froedtert & Medical College sign on the exterior of the Facility. “The cooperation we’re enjoying from the USOC makes new opportunities for sponsors such as Froedtert & Medical College possible.”

Froedtert Hospital is a 424-bed academic medical center staffed by faculty of the Medical College of Wisconsin. It serves as an eastern Wisconsin referral center for advanced medical practice care in 37 specialties and subspecialties. It is a major training and research facility with more than 1000 medical, nursing and health technical students in training and over 2000 active clinical trials each year. Froedtert, a member of Froedtert & Community Health, operates the region’s only adult Level One Trauma Center.
