Celebrate the 4th with Free Skating At the Pettit Center
MILWAUKEE--- June 26, 2007 --- The Pettit National Ice Center, a U.S.
Olympic Training Site, will celebrate July 4th in style with free
skating.
Here’s a cool new way to enjoy the 4th of July: Free ice skating at the
Pettit National Ice Center. The Pettit Center is offering free skating
admission on July 4th from noon to 8 p.m. Bring your own skates or
skates
can be rented at the Pettit Center for a small fee.
“This is a great way for families to kick off their Fourth of July
Celebrations,” said Marketing Director Rob Multerer. “It’s cool and
comfortable inside and we’ll have two skating rinks open.” In addition
to
skating, individuals can run or walk on the indoor track. All-American
concessions will also be available.
The Pettit Center provides free skating during the Wisconsin State
Fair, as
well.
