Skate With Mascots At The Pettit Center On Saturday

Can Bango skate as well as he shoots hoops? Does the Wisconsin State Fair Cravin’ D. Cream Puff know the triple toe loop? And what kind of skates does Bernie Brewer wear?

Public skaters at the Pettit National Ice Center, a U.S. Olympic Training Facility, will discover the answers to these questions and more this Saturday during the “Skate with the Mascots” event. At least 10 of the area’s favorite mascots will appear between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 28.

Part of the Pettit Center’s National Skating Month celebration, the mascots will compete in some unique “Mascot Olympics” competitions, creating on-ice and off-ice fun.

The mascot line-up includes:

  • Bango from the Milwaukee Bucks
  • Bernie Brewer from the Milwaukee Brewers
  • Roscoe from the Milwaukee Admirals
  • Blade from the Pettit National Ice Center
  • Cravin' D. Cream Puff from the Wisconsin State Fair
  • SUBastion from Cousin Subs
  • McGruff the Crime Dog from the Glendale Police Department
  • UW-Waukesha’s Cougar
  • OC Bee from Old Country Buffett
  • Recycle Raccoon from Waukesha County

Join the Pettit Center and your favorite local mascots as they make friends and create “mascot mayhem” during the Public Skating Session this Saturday starting at 1pm.
