Mascot Madness At The Pettit Center

Can the famous Klement's Racing Sausages skate as well as they run?   Find out this Saturday at the Pettit National Ice Center!

The Pettit National Ice Center, a U.S Olympic Training Site, will play host to the 3 rd Annual "Skate with the Mascots" on Saturday, January 27, 2007.

Mascots from around the state, as well as some national favorites, will be on-hand from 1pm - 4pm during the Pettit Center's public skating session.   Public skaters will get the chance to meet and mingle with some larger-than-life characters.

As part of the Pettit Center's National Skating Month celebration, several mascots will also compete in some unique "Mascot Olympics" competitions, creating on-ice and off-ice fun.   Below are just a few of the Mascots who will be in attendance this Saturday at the Pettit Center:

  • McGruff the Crime Dog
  • The Milwaukee Admirals' Roscoe
  • The Marquette Golden Eagle
  • Bango from the Milwaukee Bucks
  • Tony the Tiger
  • The Brat, Polish Sausage, Italian Sausage and the Hot Dog - better known as the Klements Racing Sausages.
  • And many more!
