Pettit Center To Be Featured On New Sports Show
The Pettit National Ice Center, a U.S. Olympic Training Site, will be a featured on Time Warner Cable's new sports show airing at 6pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 (and again on Thursday, January 4 at 4:30pm) on cable channel 32.
The show titled "U.S. Long Track Speedskating Championships" will introduce viewers to the Pettit Center, as well as the recent marquee championships that was held at our facility December 19 - 23, 2006.
The program will also show the variety of skaters that have raced both inside at the Pettit Center and outside at the outdoor Wisconsin Olympic Ice Rink.
The Sports Channel, which is available to all Time Warner subscribers on cable channel 32, will also be making it's debut on January 3. The channel will put a focus on sports in Wisconsin and will cover many different sporting events around the state.
