Basic Adult Hockey Camp
The Pettit National Ice Center holds an Adult Hockey Camp for those skaters looking to continue their playing and skill development. Brush up on your hockey skills, with a focus on everything from passing and receiving to positional play. The Adult Hockey Camp is open to players of all skill levels and is structured to offer challenging drills to all who participate. The Camp is run by a USA Hockey certified coach/instructor with the knowledge and training necessary to insure that your skill level will improve with each session. Coach Derek will tailor drills for you individually so that you are developing the skills that fit your level of competency. The camp finishes up with a full game scrimmage that includes referees and a score keeper. You can participate in the basic camp multiple times and continue to develop your skills to get prepared for league play or to advance to the intermediate camp.

Intermediate Adult Hockey Camp
Designed for the more experienced hockey player, the camp will focus on a more advanced understanding of positional play to include offensive, defensive, power play and penalty kill strategies. Complex fast paced drills emphasizing speed, passing, and puck handling techniques as well as mastering shooting accuracy. The camp instructor is a USA Hockey certified coach with vast knowledge of the game of hockey.
All sessions will include a minimum of thirty minutes of scrimmage time to practice your new skills in a game environment. It is recommended that you have successfully completed our basic camp and are a league player. Camp skill and drill sessions will be run similar to WIAA and NCAA team practices. As with the basic camp, the intermediate camp will finish up with a full scrimmage that includes referees and a score keeper. If you are ready to advance your game to a higher level, this is the camp for you.
