Students
Take Over at the Pettit Center
For more than 12 years, the Pettit has
been proud to serve area schools. Students
continue to find out first hand why the Pettit
National Ice Center is the "coolest place
around"!
A Kids
on Ice Field Trip is the perfect chance for students
to come and test drive the ice and find out what
it feels like to skate along the same ice as their
Olympic heroes. With the Schools on Ice
program, students get the opportunity to come
to the Pettit once a week for 6 weeks and gain
valuable skating experience and instruction from
the fine Pettit Skating School instructors.
The Schools on Ice program is also a perfect fit
for Home School students who need to fill their
Physical Education component.
With a Pettit Center tour, students can get a
behind the scenes glimpse the day-to-day operations
of Wisconsin's only U.S. Olympic Training Facility.
The Pettit also serves those students with Special
Needs by offering skating sessions specifically
for them.
