Pettit School Visits
The Pettit National Ice Center is a place for
the community and a place for everyone.
We enjoy spreading the word about skating, ice sports
and all the great things that go on at our U.S.
Olympic Training Facility. Often we can
bring our Pettit message right to the classroom
or general assembly for students to find out what
awaits them here at the Pettit.
With
many speed skaters, countless hockey players and
oodles of figure skaters, we are sure your students
will love to hear what is going on in a particular
skater's world. Many students have never
skated before or played an ice sport, so they
will be exposed to a whole new element of both
fun and fitness. Also, with enough time
and if schedules permit, we can even send members
of the U.S. Speedskating team to your school and
your students will get to hear first-hand what
it is like to be an Olympian!
