Along with US Speedskating Olympians, the Pettit Center has also played host to the elite curlers in the United States. In June 2007, US Curling held an elite training camp at the Pettit Center and it featured more curling a few stones down the ice. Curlers got to hold their first on-ice camp in an official US Olympic Site and had training session led by United States Olympic Committee staff members.
Besides work in the ice, curlers took advantage of the spacious Pettit Center for off-ice training sessions along with lectures and various team meetings.
