Nonprofit Pettit Center's Mission to Support Ice Sports
The Pettit National Ice Center is an official U.S. Olympic Training Site located in the heart of Southeastern Wisconsin. One of only a handful of indoor ovals in the world, the 3,000-seat center houses a 400-meter indoor speed skating oval and two Olympic-size ice rinks used for hockey, figure skating, short track speed skating, wheelchair hockey and more. Take advantage of this world-class facility by joining Olympic athletes, skating clubs, recreational skaters and health enthusiasts in all the Pettit Center has to offer.
Mission Statement
The Pettit National Ice Center is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that supports the development and health benefits of skating among people of all ages and abilities. The Pettit Center actively promotes to the general public, young and old, the mental and physical rewards of recreational skating. Designated an Olympic Training Site and one of only 12 indoor Olympic Ovals in the world; the Center also helps prepare amateur athletes for local, regional, national and international competition in speed skating.
